PAUL “RED” DVORAK’S “YESTERYEAR” SONG NOW THEME FOR RADIO SHOWPosted 2012-08-15
Paul “Red” Dvorak’s song “Yesterday” is the theme song for a new radio show put together by an Aggie friend of his, Clinton Haby. The hour-long radio show consists solely of old timers telling their tales of growing up etc., in Texas and is called the “Old Timer's Radio Hour.” It plays Sundays at 4 p.m. on KLUP 930 AM in San Antonio.
Sunday, Aug. 12, was the first show and can be heard in the following online podcast: http://www.klup.com/Podcast.aspx?showid=2768. Paul is credited for the song at the show’s end.
“Thought that was pretty cool,” writes Paul. “Besides that, it's really a good show, listening to those folks talk about a time that doesn't exist anymore. Hope ya'll can check it out.”
